Ejectment Order

Mr Crossley, Conisborough, the property owner, applied for the ejectment of one of his tenants, to wit Joseph Lewis of Conisborough.

Mr Baddeley represented the applicant, who stated that a given defendant the usual formal notice to quit but he had refused to comply.

Defendant said he was willing to leave, but although he had tried he could not get another house anywhere in Conisborough stop he challenged the right of Mr Crossley to eject him, as when he began their tenancy is agreement was with another man and not with Crossley.

Crossley stated that he had bought the property since defendant was a tenant, but he had made fresh arrangements with him.

The bench granted the application.
