Entertainment at the Board School
The annual Children’s Entertainment in connection the Board School was held on Thursday. December 19th and brought together by far the best company that has ever patronised these entertainments.
The programme consisted of Hymns, Songs. Recitations, etc, in all of which the children acquitted themselves very creditably.
In the unavoidable absence of J. Blyth. Esq., who was announced to preside, Major J. Grantham occupied the chair.
The children were assisted in their choruses by the members of the Church Choir and others.
