Denaby Works Managers Retirement
Successor’s Good Record

Mr AE Hague, of Dung Catherine, 10 to Lane, warns us, recently retired, as seen 36 years service at the factory at old Denaby British Westphalite Limited. Mr Hague has lived at Warmsworth for seven years, but is a native of Mexborough where he has lived practically all his life and has many Mexborough friends.

His association with British Westphalite Ltd at Old Denaby began in September 1900. Commencing as a member of the office staff, he held various positions, until 1920 he became the manager. In 1921 he was appointed secretary and local general manager, and kept that designation until 1930, Mr WE Butler took over the secretarial duties. Some years ago, Mr Hague was presented with a silver watch in recognition of 25 years service, and earlier this year he received a gold watch for 35 years service.
