Family Disturbances

Ann Dunn, a married woman living at Denaby, who did not answer her summons, was charged with being drunk and disorderly on the 24th ult.

P.C. Midgley said on Saturday night at half-past twelve he heard a disturbance in the street. He went to the place and found the woman drunk, and cursing and swearing awfully. He found afterwards that the woman had been quarrelling with her husband, and she said she had left the house so as to protect herself. Three of the children he also found in their night dresses in a neighbour’s house.
