Fatal Accident at Conisborough

On Thursday week last Mr. T. Gabbitas, living at North Cliff Terrace, Conisborough, had the misfortune to injure his hand with a rusty nail while following his usual occupation.

The injury, although apparently of a slight nature, was sufficiently painful to require medical aid, and it was immediately pronounced to be blood poisoning.

Despite the best efforts of Dr Clark, Mr Gabbitas succumbed on Tuesday morning last. Much sympathy is expressed with Mrs Gabbitas and family in their painfully sudden bereavement.
