Fighting At Conisboro’.

William Jackson, George Blackburn and Harrison Booth, miners, New Conisboro’ were summoned for. Having made an affray at Conisboro’, on Sept. 11th. The defendants did not appear.

P.c. Duffin said that about 7.40 p.m. on the night in question, his attention was called to a disturbance in Station road. The defendants were fighting, and had a crowd of people around them.

Fred Lowe said that owing to their misbehaviour he had had to order the defendants out of the Station Hotel. When they got outside they began fighting.

The Chairman said the defendants would each have to pay the costs, and attend the court on Saturday for the purpose of being bound over to keep the peace.
