Fire at Ferry Farm
Late on Saturday night a large fire broke out at Ferry Farm, Conisborough, in the occupation of Mr. Bradbury.
The flames were not noticed for some time, owing to a dense fog prevailing. When discovered the fire had obtained a good hold, and the Conisborough Fire Brigade, who were called to the spot, had a hard job to keep it from spreading to the outbuilding.
They at length subdued the flames, but not until six valuable stacks bad been entirely consumed.
