First Aid At 81.
Mrs R Kirby, of 63, Bolton Street, with nearly 81 years of age, is still an active member of the Nursing Division of the Denaby Ambulance Brigade.
She joined the nursing division about 21 years ago and has rendered assistance in numerous cases of accident and sickness.
She has several bars and medallions and also medals for work in connection with the explosion at the Cadeby Colliery in 1912 as well as the long service medal for the Saint John Ambulance Brigade
