David Beeching
Back in South Yorkshire next week – this time on the professional stage – will be a former member of Mexborough Green Room Club, David Beeching.
This ex-Bevin boy at Denaby and Cadeby Main -Collieries decided to make the theatre his career after the war and joined the Hanson Court Players on his release from the mines.
He has been with this company ever since.
Incidentally the headquarters of the Court Players are at Hastings, David’s home town. and recently he has had a season there.
He has just concluded a season at Chester and comes to the Lyceum Theatre, Sheffield, as actor-stage manager for the Players at Sheffield.
