Four Hurt in Car Crash

An early-morning collision in the fog on Sheffield Road, Conisborough near Rock House, yesterday, resulted in four people, all passengers in a motorcar, been taken to Fullerton hospital.

There are a Conisborough relieving officer, Mr George HA Looker (following), of low road carnage with; his two daughters Iris Looker and Frances Looker, both aged 11, and Margaret Gregory (13) of Green Bank, Low Rd, Conisborough.

Mr Looker who sustained a suspected fractured rib, cuts on the forehead, forearm and wrists, and Margaret Gregory, who received a cut forehead and arm, were detained.

Iris and Frances Looker, who sustained abrasions, were allowed to go home after treatment.

Mr Looker was taking the girls to Notre Dame high School, Sheffield, when he was involved in a collision with a motor lorry.
