His first goal

Aubrey Scriven, who registered his first league goal for Birmingham at Gigg Lane last week is a youngster of only 21 years, who graduated with Denaby United in the Midland League.
He and Young Briggs, who is making a smart deputy for Joe Bradford at centre forward, were both up to from this club, and have proved rare discoveries. They will be worth four figures in the transfer world now.

Denaby Sign Bromage

Denaby signings for next season have given pleasure to the followers of the team. Five already been reported, and this week the signature of Bromage has been secured.
“Joe” is a favourite, and his will be a popular signature.

It is pleasing also to note that Brayshaw got his sides only goal in his first appearance with Blackburn’s First Division team.

Briggs scored twice for Birmingham, and he and Scriven both played well last Saturday in the Birmingham senior team.
