From Holland to Denaby
From August 12th to August 19th a party of Dutch visitors from the Dutch Reform Church will be visiting Denaby district.
The Vicar of Denaby the Rev. A. V. Roebuck, and Mrs. Roebuck visited Holland last year with a party from Sheffield Diocese and this is a return visit to England.
About 32 visitors are expected and so far the Vicar of Denaby has been successful in billeting 18 in Denaby, Conisbrough, and Mexborough. If any one feels they can accept one of the visitors as a guest for the week, they should contact the Vicar of Denaby
It is hoped to arrange a social event for the visitors so that they may meet church members and arrangements are also being made to take them round the Collieries and other works in the district.
It is hoped too, to take them to see a few of the beauty spots of Yorkshire.
