Gambling at Denaby Main
Thos. Mullins and Thos. Mannion was summoned for gambling at Denaby on the 25th ult.
Police-constable Kendal stated that he was concealed behind some closets in Cliff View, Denaby, and observed the defendants playing cards. He saw money pass between the defendants several times.
Mullins, who appeared to answer the charge, said he was not playing for gain but to while away the time.
Mullins was fined 1s. and costs, and Mannion 3s. and costs.
