“The love of the circus girl” blackmail and “Bungling Bunks Bunco,” supported by a fine selection of dramas and comedies have given great pleasure to the patrons of the popular cinema.
Next week’s programme contains some exceptionally good objects. That world famed serial picture. “The tray of hearts” is screened on the first half of the week, and all lovers of excitement will delight in this sensational subject “at the risk of his life” (a selig drama) “Helen’s sacrifice” (railroad drama), and the ever welcome Pathe’s gazette promises satisfaction, while Sir Cameo element will be amply sustained by “Dr Smith’s baby.” “An abode of peace,” and “the Great Toe Mystery.”
On Thursday and Saturday, a treat is assured by the inclusion of that fine topical drama, “The Bells of Reims,” a subject which exhibits the boasted journeymen “culture” in its true colours. “The adopted child” is another fine two reel drama, and Jonny Bunny appears to advantage in “Such a Hunter.”
On Good Friday another special programme will be given. Including “The Fallen Idol” a three reel drama of absorbing interest” and other well assorted subjects.
Special attention is drawn to the alteration in times. This is stated by the early closing of licensed premises in Conisborough. Two houses are held nightly. At 6.30 and eight – 45, but patrons of 4d. And 6d. seats, to whom these times may not be convenient. They may enter at any time (as in continuous shows) and stay until they have seen the programme through.
