Going up a Step at Denaby
Conisbrough Urban Council feel that the stamp machine at Denaby Main Post Office is sited at an inconvenient height and the Surveyor (Mr. A. W. R. Taylor) has discussed suggested improvements with the Postmaster at Denaby Main.
Said Coun. H. Gomersall at Wednesday’s meeting of the Council: “I do not think that anyone less than 5ft. 6 inches can reach the machine to get stamps. The Doncaster Postmaster has suggested that a step should be placed there and this will be considered by the Denaby Postmaster and the Surveyor.”
