Denaby Golden Wedding.
During the week-end, Mr. and Mrs. W. Wrathmell, of 72, Warmsworth Street, Denaby Main, celebrated their golden wedding. They were married at Hopton, near Huddersfield. Mr. Wrathmell is 76 years of age and enjoys good health, but his wife, who is 75, is an invalid.
Mr. Wrathmell went to the district in 1905 as platelayer Cadeby Colliery, and a few years later was appointed foreman platelayer at Denaby Main.
He retired on pension about six years ago.

Golden Wedding
Mr. and Mrs. W. Wrathmell, 72, Warmsworth Street, Denaby Main last Thursday, commemorated their 50th wedding anniversary. They were married at the Wesleyan Chapel, Hopton, Huddersfield, on April 2nd, 1881. Mr. Wratamell is 74 years of age, and enjoys fairly good health, but Mrs. Wrathmell. who is 75, is an invalid.
Mr. Wrathmell came into this district in 1905 as a platelayer at the Cadeby Colliery and was afterwards foreman platelayer at the Denaby Colliery.
He retired on pension about six years ago.
Previous to coming to Denaby he was employed on the L.M.S. and also on the old G.C.
