This Grandfather Clock, at least 100 years old, was being packed on Monday at Castle Grove, Conisbrough, by Mr Herbert Downing and his son, Mr G. P. Downing, in readiness for its 7,000 mile journey to the U.S.A. to a former Conisbrough man, Mr Ronald E. Booth, to whom it has been sold.
