Happy Denaby Soldier
The picture of Bdr. L. MacDonald has been sent to his wife, Mrs. MacDonald, of 23, Church Road, Denaby Main. He certainly looks happy, but will be happier when he is able to return to his wife and family.
Bdr. MacDonald was employed on the surface at Denaby Colliery and was called up at the outbreak of war. He was in the evacuation at Dunkirk, and is now in the Middle East.
