He Began to Cry.
At Doncaster yesterday, John Toubey, a Denaby collier, was fined 20s. and costs for stealing nine pairs of children’s boots and two pairs of cricketing trousers from the G.N.R. Station.
He was seen undoing one of the parcels, and said they belonged to him. When told he would be locked up he began to cry.
He pleaded that he was drunk, and did not know what he was doing. This was his first offence.
