New Conisborough Club

The newly formed Conisborough club to fly the South Road, which has its headquarters at the Three Horse Shoes Inn, has taken the title of the “Three Horse Shoes Homing Society.” The chief officials are Mr. J. Burton (chairman and treasurer) and Mr. T. Drury (secretary).

Messrs. C. Bunn, W. Jones, A. Lawrence and G. Redfern form the clock committee and all the flying members are on the general committee.

The old bird programme opens to-morrow with a race from Leicester and the subsequent races (each succeeding Saturday) are as follows: Leicester, Rugby, Banbury, Didcot, Bournemouth (2), and Jersey. Race charges are 1s. per bird up to Bournemouth.

Prizes will be allocated as follows, after deducting carriage and telegramme: 1st, 50 per cent.; 2nd, 30 per cent.; and third, 20 per cent. The Pools will be 1d. up to 1s. inclusive, two prizes 60 per cent. and 40 per cent. The 2s. 6d. pool will only provide one prize. Marking time for Leicester is Friday, 6-15 to 7-45.
