Horse in Greengrocers

About 1.30 yesterday, a coal lorry, owned by Messrs. Smalley and Sons, Mexborough, attempted to pass a coal cart, owned by Messrs Macdonald, of Denaby, and proceeding in the same direction in Church Street, Conisborough.

The motor startled the leading horse, which dashed into the shop of Mrs. Graves, greengrocer, who at the, time was cleaning the window, which was completely shattered.

Mrs. Graves, fortunately, escaped with nothing worse than shock.
