House Breaking at Goole

Albert Beesley (27) and Benjamin Fawkes (27), miners, of Denaby, were indicted for breaking and entering into three dwelling-houses at Goole, and stealing various articles and money, and against Beesley there was also charge in respect housebreaking at Wath.

Beesley, who asked for a number of other offences be taken into consideration, was sentenced to nine months’ hard labour, and Fawkes was bound over for three years.
