Important Sale of Valuable Colliery Horses

by Mr. T. HARBOP, on the Premises of the Denaby Main Colliery Company, on THURSDAY, the 8th day of February, the following very valuable PIT HORSES and PONIES, which the Company have no further use for on account of the depression of trade:

LOT 1 — Bay HORSE, Drummer,” 15 hands

LOT 2.— Black, “Barker,” 14 ½  hands, 7 years

LOT 3.—Grey HORSE, 7 years

LOT 4.—Brown HORSE, Jack,” hands, 14 ½ hands, 8 years

LOT 5.—Brown HORSE, “Charley,” 14 ½  hands, 8 years

LOT 6.—Black HORSE, “Dick,” 14 hands, 8 years

LOT 7.—Black PONY “Saul,” 13 bands. 8 years

LOT 8.—Chestnut PONY “Jerry.” 13 hands. 6 years

LOT 9.—Bay PONY, “Don.” 12 hands

LOT 10.—CheStnut PONY, “Tichborne,” 12 hands

LOT 11—Pyebald PONY. “Billy,” 18 hands

LOT 12.—Grey PONY, “Snowball,” 18 hands

LOT 13.—Gray PONY, “Tiger,” 18 hands

LOT l4—Chestnut PONY, “Silvery,” 18 hands

LOT 15.—Bay MARE, “Beauty” aged. 15 hands.

LOT 16.—Dark Brown HORSE, “Dragon,” 16 hands, years.

The Auctioneer can with confidence recommend the above lot to be good and genuine Working Horses, and in work to day of sale. Any particulars respecting same can be had on application.

P.S. The Ponies will not be drawn out of the Colliery until time of Sale.
