Inquest at Mexborough.

Yesterday Mr. D. Wightman held inquiry at the Montagu Arms, Mexborough, touching the death of a miner named Robert Good, whose home is at Denaby, and who died on Sunday at the Mexborough Montagu Cottage Hospital, whither he had been removed, from the effects of injuries sustained on the 28th February, while working at Denaby Main Colliery.

Mr. F. N. Wardell, Her Majesty’s Inspector of Mines, was present, as was also Mr. W. H. Chambers, manager of the colliery.

A verdict that deceased was killed by falling coal was returned.
