Swakopmund – Township

In the morning went on a Township tour. A real eye opener. Swakopmund has a 50,000 population but only 16,000 reside in the town. 28,000 blacks are nearby in townships with varying levels of housing.

A Kindergarten was visited and food and entertainment provided.

After lunch the health of the party deteriorated as we were stricken by food poisoning. Two people went to hospital and only seven survived for the evening meal.
