White Lady Paintings and a Lion
The sands and the light next morning gave out a surreal glow.
The day contained three walks – A punishment for being ill the previous day !
The first, and longest was to see the White Lady rock paintings, following the tracks of elephants and leopards.
Then we saw the numerous bushmen paintings – but only one lion !
Finally as the afternoon heat built up we visited the petrified forest with notice of a large fine or twelve months imprisonment for removing specimens!
We arrived at the Oppi Koppi rest camp for an excellent evening with a photographer and the landlord – and a porcupine thrown in for good measure !
