An exciting game was witnessed at Mexborough on Saturday, when, Denaby and Cadeby United, the leaders in the Mexborough League, met with their first defeat of the season.
There was a very large attendance, indeed, a record in this respect was created. The spectators got full value for their money.
They saw the whole of the Denaby 11 dismissed for the paltry total 34 runs, Brown taking nine wickets for 13.
