Denaby 235 for 7 Brodsworth 158 for 5

Denaby and Brodsworth provided a high scoring game at Tickhill Square on Saturday.

Denaby’s total of 235 for 7 wickets included 65 by Eric Robinson, a cousin of Ellis Robinson, the Yorkshire County cricketer, and a left-handed batsmen.

His total included a six and eight fours. G Hobson knocked up a useful 59 (which included 11 fours) and the Denaby total was their highest this season.

Brodsworth were not discouraged however, and when time was called their total stood at 158 for 5 wickets. Mountford had a top score of 65 and J Grocock made 41
