Mexborough batted first and a very bad wicket and rattled up the moderate total of 127. Nicholson batted splendidlyfor 41.
Conisbrough retaliated by being all out for 39, mainly through the bowling of Beckettwith five wickets for 13 runs and Nicholson got four wickets for 24
