Kicking A Pit Pony.
Lawrence Mc Nauie was charged with ill-treating a pony at Denaby Main Colliery on the 21st of May.
Mc Nauie, who pleaded guilty, said the pony was stupid.
Mr. H. H. Hickmott prosecuted for the Coal Company, and asked the Bench to impose a heavy penalty as a warning to others
John Guest, horse-keeper at the Colliery, proved the offence.
Fined 20s. and costs.
