Kilner Bros, Conisborough M.M. ‘S.
Saturday night, Sergeant Fred Stephenson. M.M.. 1st Y. and L., and Herbert McDonald, M.M., late the 9th K.0.Y.L.I., employees of Messrs. Kilner Bros., Conisbro’ Glass Works, were presented by the firm and employees with gold watches and chains and illuminated addressee in recognition of their gallantry in action.
Mr. S. C. Urch presided, and in the unavoidable absence of Mr. Caleb Kilner (managing director), the presentations were made by Mr. George Kilner, who said that of the firm’s 500 workmen, 120 had served, and twenty had fallen.
