King George to Visit Conisborough Castle
The news that his Majesty King George is to pay a visit to the Castle on Monday week has been received with great satisfaction, and it is expected that he will have a great welcome.
Local historians tell us that he will be the third monarch to pay a visit to this noble structure, but the occasions are separated by a wide margin of years.
It is understood there will be no formalities in connection with the visit, but decorations on no small scale will not be neglected.body
