Leeds City Reserves 0, Denaby United 0

A rather weak Reserve team of Leeds City this afternoon opposed Denaby United, on the Elland Road Ground, under the auspices of the Midland League. There were about 1,000 spectators.

Denaby were the first to get away, but Southall, who was playing right back for the home team, pulled up and cleared to midfield.

Then the Leeds City left wing looked dangerous, but Marshall was an effective stumbling block. On another occasion Wallace had good opportunity of soring tor Leeds, but be shot too high

Another opportunity was missed by Wallace and Wigglesworth, the Leeds outside left, and hard lines with a shot which just went over the bar.
