Singular Adventure of a Child.

On night, the wife of David Lowe, a deputy at Denaby Main, went to Mexbro’ market, taking with her her child, aged four years.

In the crowd in High street, Mexbro’, the little one got lost. The mother hunted about until a late hour, but could not find it.

The “crier ” was informed of the circumstance, and on Saturday night, as well as on Sunday morning:, he was out with his bell at Mexbro’ and Swinton.

Yesterday, the parent heard that the boy had been found at Winterwell. The little fellow had walked about eight miles.
