Is the Envy of Small Boys at Conisbrough
Christopher and Ian Randall of 91, Dayland’s Avenue, Conisbrough, young sons of a blind man, are the envy of other young boys in the district, this for their father Mr Albert Randall, is extremely expert at toy making and he has converted a small imitation motorcar to accommodate the two boys.
It has the luxuries of a proper car. He has fixed a portable wireless inside, a large cabin on top of the car, complete with windows and lockable doors, and electrical horn and has converted the push pedal drive to a chain drive. A six volt motorcycle battery has been fitted under the car bonnet. These alterations have been made by Mr Randall with only a little help from his father Mr James Randall, of Loversall Street Denaby.
And now the two boys, Christopher, aged six and Ian, aged eight, are the envy of other small boys, as they drive through the streets in their red car. A large crowd of small boys can usually be seen following the car, listening to the radio and the electric horn hooting away.
