Man and Wife From Denaby
Stephen Galvin of Denaby, had been summoned by his wife Mary Galvin, who charged him with an assault, and also asked the magistrates to grant a judicial separation.
Mr. Hickmott appeared for the defendant, and expressed his willingness on behalf of his client to consent to a separation order being granted. He suggested an adjournment so that terms could be come to respecting the amount to be allowed by the defendant, towards her maintenance.
This course was adopted.
