The West Riding County Council on Wednesday restored the original plan for the amalgamation of the urban district of Conisborough with the parishes of Edlington and Conisborough Parks.

The British coal output for the week ended February 3rd was 4,648,700 tons, and the number of wage earners employed weas 787,500.  Compared with the previous week there was a reduction in output and an increase in the numbers employed.
