The Rev. R. J. Jones says the village of Jump is in the “transitional” period.  It is not alone.

Mr. George Baker O.B.E., of Greno House, Swinton, will shortly complete his second year of office as president of the Rotherham Chamber of Commerce.

Mr. H. Hollingsworth, of Thurnscoe, has been appointed president of the Yorkshire District Council of the National Federation of Retail Newsagents.
