A Married Woman, “Lost” at Conisborough.
Rose Munsay, a married woman, of Conisborough, was summoned for being drunk.
Police Sgt Morley deposed that, on the Sunday previous, at midnight, he came across the defendant, who was in a very drunken condition.
She said she had been at the Three Horse shoes Inn, with her husband, but had “lost” her way.
She was bawling out. She asked to be directed to Conisborough.
Police Constable Guylee gave corroborative evidence.
The defendant said this was the first time she had appeared before justices and hoped they would overlook the offence.
Fined five shillings and costs
