Masterful Denaby Woman

Annie Coyne, married woman, Denaby, was summoned for having been drunk and disorderly at Denaby on July 21.

Police constable Lancaster said the offence was committed in Barnburgh Street.

He took the woman home, and handed her over to her husband, who said he had tried to keep her in the house, but she had got master of him.

The defendant, who did not appear, was fined five shillings and the costs.
