These teams met in a friendly encounter at Conisborough on Saturday.

As was expected, a fairly good number put in an appearance to witness the game.

Conisborough, for a third time, were again beaten somewhat severely.

Denaby declared at 107 with eight wickets down, while Conisborough only managed to make 66.

M. Harrison, the Denaby pro played a very fine game for his 46. He also performed an excellent achievement in the bowling line, taking six wickets for 17 runs.

Bateson was a principal scorer on the Conisborough side, making 17 by steady cricket.

In the closing stages of the Conisborough innings. The game was very exciting, and it was only in the last few minutes that Denaby gained a victory by getting out their opponents before the call of time.
