Denaby Gunner
Gunner George Alfred Mellor of 39, Church Road, Denaby Main, was called up early in September last with the local company of a light anti-aircraft company of the R.A.
Gunner Mellor is stationed somewhere in England, and looks forward to the arrival of the “South Yorkshire Times”, which his parents, Mr. and Mrs. G. Mellor, of 51, Maltby Street, Denaby Main, send him each week.
He says they all enjoy it, and especially the page giving details of the “Boys” and the home news.
He is quite well and enjoys the work. He meets many others from this locality.
