Gunner Albert Curtis received notification of his Mention in Dispatches on April 4, while serving with the B.A.O.R.

Gunner Curtis is the youngest son of Mr and Mrs RG Curtis, nine dear lands Avenue, and has been in the forces for four years.

He hopes to be demobilised sometime this year.

Another brother, Guardsman J Curtis, has served with Coldstream Guards for six years.
