Reported Missing in France – Sad News

Private Kenneth Milner, who was attached to the Military Auxiliary Pioneer Corps and was sent to France shortly after he had enlisted, has been officially reported missing.

He is the son of the late Mr. Hubert Milner and of Mrs. Milner, of 66, Ravenfield Street, Denaby Main, and the notification from the War Office was received by his mother on Wednesday morning.

Much sympathy is felt for Mrs. Milner, who in the last six months has suffered the loss of her husband and mother, and now receives the sad news of her son, form whom she only received about one letter after his going to France.

He is posted as having been missing since May.
