Several minor accidents had happened in our local collieries this week, one boy had his forearm broken, while another boy had his leg fractured.
The first was a little chap named W. Hales, who was knocked down by a run of corves.
The other lad, J. Ellis, a pony-driver, who was knocked down by a train of tubs his pony was pulling, was treated by one of the ambulance men at the pit, who rendered first aid, and he was then removed to Fullerton Hospital.
