Rover Doing his Bit

Private Ellis Moore who is with a light anti-aircraft battery was well known in Conisborough where for many years he had taken a great interest in the Scout Movement and was a Rover Scout of the 2 nd Conisborough troop.

He is a regular reader of the “Times”, and looks forward to getting the local news.

He is the son of Mrs. Crookes (and the late Mr. A. Moore), of 17, New Hill, Conisborough.

Before enlistment he was employed at Messrs. Dale Brown and Co., Swinton.

He is at present in England.
