Four Denaby Brothers

The photographs of four brothers will make up one of the many British fighting families in Denaby main, the sons of Mr and Mrs Moore of 10 Loversall Street, Denaby main.
Private Fred Moore (York and Lancaster) has been twice wounded, and is now in hospital at Salonika.
Private Horace Moore (York and Lancaster) is also in Salonika.
Private George Alfred Moore (York and Lancaster) was wounded at the Dardanelles, and has rejoined his Regiment at Durham.
The other brother is private Albert Moore (York and Lancaster).

The Moores have a brother-in-law, private Thomas Stoppard (West Yorks) serving in France, and a cousin private Sam Hinchcliffe (York and Lancs) in Salonika. The family are well known in the oil and district as well as at Denaby main.
