Accident

Jack Long (22), of 2, Castle Avenue, Conisborough, employed as a motor lorry driver by Messrs Swift brothers and Haslam, Doncaster, was involved in a collision on the Thorne Road, Doncaster on Saturday.

He was driving a lorry which was carrying drainpipes, and his vehicle collided with a bus belonging to Messrs Severn, of Stainforth, and driven by William Whitehead of Thorne.

A number of the passengers on the bus were injured..

Long suffered from severe shock. He is reported to be progressing favourably
