Mr. C. W. Whitworth Down A Mine.
Mr. C. W. Whitworth, the Unionist candidate for the Doncaster Division, had an unusual experience yesterday.
Accompanied by friends, he descended the Cadeby pit, and with Mr Witty as pioneer, he spent a couple of hours underground.
As a large number of the electors of the division are engaged in the coal industry, Mr Whitworth was able to see the conditions they follow their daily occupation and he gained a great deal of useful information.
