New Bus Stand
There has been a long standing need for an improvement in the position of the bus stop on the east side of Doncaster Road opposite the Star Hotel.
Work has been going on for some weeks now in the cutting out of a recess to allow the buses to pull in off the main road. This work has now been completed and the first bus pulled in to the new stand on Saturday, but none has been seen to use it since.
It appears that there is not sufficient room to manoeuvre the vehicles round the Island causeway, which will either have to be shortened or removed
